Bio.
Blending honest storytelling with nuanced performances, technical prowess, and a dash of surreal humour, Edward brings a distinctive cross-disciplined touch to his filmmaking. Whether working with actors or breathing life into animated characters, Edward is foremost a storyteller who has crafted a range of commercial work for brands such as Google, Intuit, and Lego. 

Prior to stepping into the director’s chair he was part of the VFX teams at DNeg who won Academy Awards for blockbusters like; Blade Runner 2049, Inception, Captain America, and The Harry Potter franchise. Transitioning behind the camera, Edward carried this deep-rooted understanding of composition but also scriptwriting into the commercial and film realm, with his work being recognized through a number of industry accolades and festivals, including being named Shots The Americas - New Director of the Year in 2021.

Fascinated with the DNA of storytelling and the psychology behind why we tell stories , Edward has written a number of feature scripts. With an eye on his feature debut, one of his original fantasy/drama scripts will be developed into a short later this year.
